This section includes many of the educational materials created for the workshops. In this part of the website you will find an educational workshop which uses some of the material collected for the project. It also includes an exhibition trail which can be used with the PDFs of the exhibition.

Activity 3: Poster and object handling exercise. Discuss the posters and the kinds of language used in them. What can we learn from these objects?

Activity 4: Reconstructing the past. Use the material located in these documents to work out biographies of the people they are related to. For Bill think about why a working class 19 year old boy would enlist and what do the documents tell us. For Minnie think about women's rights in general, her options to engage with the war and her getting momentos from the trenches. 

Activity 5: Exhibition trail to be used with exhibition PDF. There is also a large print copy located in the pack.
